Hkason is a visual Artist based in Seoul, South Korea.
He graduated from Kunsthochschule für Medien (KHM) in Cologne, Germany.
Hkason explores the second skin, which refers to the materials and actions worn, delving into playful systems of interlocking human bodies, objects, and spaces. And creates systems, games, and theater-like relationships in which human body, objects, and space interact with each other.
Beyond merely covering or draping, he looks for the inherent tendency to change or appear differently due to alterations in the shape's interior and exterior, and aims for the flexible ambivalence of the medium, the way it is fastened, and the act that facilitates this transformation.
He also defines beauty as vital movement, and analyzes the new movement of the human body, machines, and space. He particularly focuses on phenomena and movements that are derived and transitioned, and he has been recently expanding his work on themes such as correction, optimization, synchronization, and generation.

그는 단순히 걸치고, 덮는 행위 외에 형상의 안과 밖의 변화로 인해 본래의 성질이 달라지는 또는 다르게 보이는 성향을 찾으며, 이러한 변이를 도와주는 매개체, 체결 방식, 그리고 행위의 유연한 양면성을 지향한다.
또한 그는 아름다움을 생기있는 움직임으로 정의하며, 인체, 기계, 그리고 공간이 그리는 새로운 움직임을 분석한다. 특히 파생되고, 전이되는 현상과 움직임에 주목하며, 최근에는 교정, 최적화, 동기화, 그리고 생성이란 주제로 작업을 확장하고 있다.
