Hkason explores the act of putting on a second skin, a material such as clothing, and the act of wearing, creating playful systems and lyrical theater-like stages in which human bodies, objects, and spaces relate to each other.
He looks for moments where the properties of materials and surfaces change beyond the simple act of putting on or covering, and aims for flexible ambivalence in the mediums, fastenings, and actions that facilitate this transformation.
He studied fashion at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium, and holds a degree in Media Arts from the Academy of Media Arts Cologne, Germany.

그는 단순히 걸치고, 덮는 행위 외에 물질과 표면의 성질이 변화하는 지점을 찾으며,
이러한 변이를 도와주는 매개체, 체결 방식, 그리고 행위의 유연한 양면성을 지향한다.
벨기에 앤트워프 왕립예술학교에서 패션을 공부하였으며, 독일 쾰른미디어예술대학에서 미디어아트로 학위를 받았다.
